Product training service for the StarShip software, includes:

  1. Review topics identified and submitted by the customer
  2. Provide suggestions on optimization and “best practices”
  3. Answer any questions

It is required that StarShip is fully configured and functional to prevent any unforeseen interruptions during the training. The client’s workstation(s) will require an internet connection

  1. Conduct a pre-upgrade call to work on a game plan for the upgrade
  2. Conduct the upgrade on the agreed upon appointment date/time
    • Create a backup of the current StarShip database
    • Upgrade the StarShip Server/database on one server
    • Upgrade the StarShip Client and Dashboard shortcuts on up to two workstations
    • Complete a test shipment as follows
      1. Retrieve the source document (sales order or invoice)
      2. Rate and process shipment
      3. Print shipping label and Bill of Lading (if applicable)
      4. Verify the source document is updated in the Source/Financial System
3. Perform a quick review of the major features introduced in the current version

Migrate MS SQL, Server, Client/Web Client, from 1 server to another using a direct or phased approach (test>go live). Software is upgraded to the current available version.

Add/configure an additional StarShip location to existing tenant, configure and test carriers, printing profiles, rules, source/ERP integration.

Add/install StarShip Cloud connector to existing StarShip Cloud tenant, configure and test printing profiles.

Integrate StarShip and your contracted rates for any of our current parcel, LTL, or 3PL carrier integrations: Click to view our full list of carriers. Plus testing and training on shipment processing workflow. StarShip On-Prem requires purchase of carrier module. StarShip Cloud requires Parcel + LTL Plan when adding LTL and 3PL carriers.

Integrate StarShip with an ecommerce channel, testing, training on shipment processing workflow. StarShip On-Prem requires purchase of eCommerce module. StarShip Cloud has all eCommerce modules included with your subscription.
