Some people confuse the premier Sage 100 ERP (formerly MAS 90 and MAS 200 ERP) StarShip shipping software with the Enterprise or USS Enterprise (often referred to as the "Starship Enterprise").

Now with the new Sage 100 ERP StarShip Link 2.0, the user is free to expand the customization of their freight rules to include a broader selection of Sage 100 ERP fields.  For example customer fields allow flexibility to adjust rates based on customer type.  You may have a platinum customer you would like to offer 20% off the freight cost.  You may have a Gold customer you would like to offer 15% of the freight cost.  The rules you create can easily be applied to shipment costs between customer types or customer values as well as other fields such as order total or a UDF field.  In addition, you can specify to use the list rate or the rate you negotiated with the carrier. StarShip shipping software freight rules give you full control over which charges are used and how they should be marked up or down.
